The signing of the seven year covenant between the nation of Isra’el and the antichrist is the key birth pain that we will see before the beginning of the Great Tribulation. The Bible says: He will confirm a covenant with many for one seven. In the middle of the seven he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the Tribulation temple, he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him (Dani’el 9:27). The signing of the seven-year covenant between the antichrist and the nation of Isra’el could be the ninth or tenth birth pain, depending on the timing of the Rapture. It is important to understand that it is not the Rapture that begins the Great Tribulation, but the signing of the seven-year covenant.
