Our New Position in Messiah
2: 4-10

Ephesians 2:1-3 presents a hopeless picture of an unregenerate person who deserves nothing by God’s wrath (to see link click Av – Salvation from Sin). The wrath of Ha’Shem, however, is not the entire story. Its dark background contrasts with the glorious display of God’s grace toward those alienated from Him because of their sin. This next section describes our new position in Messiah, and the grace of ADONAI which works on some unbelievers and gives them eternal life (see Ax – Alive in Messiah), raises them up (see Ay – Raised in Messiah), and seats them in heaven with Yeshua Messiah (see Az – Seated in Messiah).
